$20 U.S. Gold Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
The Saint-Gaudens double eagle replaced the Liberty Head design in 1907 and was minted until 1933. Like its predecessor, this design combines collector and bullion value.

First minted in 1986, the American Gold Eagle has a face-value of $50 and is guaranteed by the U.S. Government to contain 1 oz. of pure gold from American sources.
Fractional American Gold Eagle
The American Gold Eagle is also available in fractional amounts of 1/2 oz. ($25 face-value), 1/4 oz. ($10 face-value), and 1/10 oz. ($5 face-value) of pure gold from American sources.
Canadian Gold Maple (1 oz.)
First minted in 1979, the Canadian Gold Maple has a face-value of $50 and is guaranteed by the Canadian Government to contain 1 oz. of pure gold.

German Gold 20 Marks
Minted from 1871-1915, the German 20 Mark gold coin contains 0.2528 oz. of gold. These were also produced in 5 Mark (0.0632 oz. gold) and 10 Mark (0.1264 oz. gold) coins.
British Gold Sovereigns
The British Sovereign, one of Britain's most famous coins, has a face-value of £1 and contains .23542 oz. of 22-carat (91%) Crown Gold alloy.
Swiss 20 Franc
Minted from 1897-1936, and again in 1947 and 1949, the Swiss 20 Franc contains 0.1866 oz. of pure gold. It is valued for its bullion content.

U.S. 90% Silver Coins
Pre-1965 half-dollars, quarters and dimes contain 90% pure silver and are referred to as junk silver, because they are sold for their bullion rather than collectible value.
